The family-run Garofoli winery was founded over 120 years ago, and has been at the forefront of quality production in Le Marche as one of the leaders promoting Verdicchio worldwide. Daria and her son, Gianluca, have been integral partners to Haw River Wine Merchant for 20 years now; we consider them friends first and business partners second. Gianluca has spent quite a bit of time in the North Carolina and South Carolina markets, traveling and promoting his family wines. It’s always a pleasure listening to him tell their history while enjoying his wines at the table.
