Komaros Rosato
Montepulciano, considered one of the best Italian grape varieties for rosé, is made from vines in the same vineyards as Garofoli's Grosso Agontano Cònero DOCG wine. Harvest takes place earlier to maximize acidity and fruit blanace. The name Kómaros is Greek for Cònero, and originally comes from the word for arbutus, or madrona trees, that are common in this area.
