Barbaresco "Faset"

edit: Located in the most renowned valley of the denomination, once owned by the Cocito counts of Neive. Faset sits on the top of the hill like Rabaja and Asili -its neighbours- do. The hill turns gently from South to West drawing two small curves. It can range from fresh, light tones by the river, robust in its center, ending more detailed, floral and elegant in the Asili’s edge. In our case Faset comes from two plots, one exposed to full South and one that turns toward South-West; those are the natural continuation of Asili Valdrappo. This terroir let its grapes to mature finesse and an indefinite complexity that made this Barbaresco area famed.
