Founded in 1960 by a group of 26 growers led by Luis Raifer, this cooperative changed the direction of quality in the South Tyrol area of Alto Adige. With a focus on quality and a push towards the indigenous white wines of the area, Colterenzio has become a leader in premium wine production as well as sustainable agriculture at their solar-powered winery. Today, there are 300 partner-winegrowers that are the backbone of the organization, and who share a common intention of precision and laser-focus with all of the wines.
